Web Design A Rocky Web Home Page

Unless you have the most basic "business card" type of page that has info that doesn't change you will have to ensure that your site gets updated as often as necessary, do not just forget about it!

There are a few different ways you might keep your site updated. You can have a scheduled maintenance contract with the designer. Part of the design process can include setting up sections of certain pages that reference other HTML or text files that you can update without affecting the main pages. The site can be set up to be database-driven where any changes made to a database will also update your site, changes can be made through a web interface to an online database or by uploading the latest copy of the database.

Content that might need to changed can include contact info, price lists, new or discontinued products, articles & editorials, images, links, announcements, special offers, and more. You just might want to update the look of the site or expand the scope and content.
