Web Design A Rocky Web Home Page

Now that you have made all these decisions, gathered the elements, and learned a few things it is time to actually put the web page(s) together.

If you are building your own site this is when you will code your site or put it together in a WYSIWYG editor. If using a designer then you will leave it in their hands until it is time to see the first draft. It is at this stage that close attention has to be paid to saving the web page files and all their elements in a logical and organized folder structure so that elements are referenced from the appropriate location and the whole site can be transferred as a group of folders.

Time to actually build the site varies with the size of the project. There will be various drafts, alterations, additions, deletions, and even complete redesigns. It is a good idea to pay attention to every detail so that you are happy with the finished site.

Now you have a site, time to Upload it to the server ...
